Description:

Estas mariposas son grandes y sus alas están decoradas de forma simétrica. En México, la mariposa cuatro espejos es la principal representante de las Satúrnidas. Los tonos de sus alas (cafés y dorados), les ayudan a confundirse con el medio. Tienen también un triángulo sin escamas que puede reflejar la luz al igual que un espejo. These butterflies are bigger and their wings are decorated symmetrically. In Mexico, the butterfly four mirrors is the main representative of the Saturnian. The tones of her wings (brown and gold), help them to blend with the environment. They also have a triangle without scales that can reflect light like a mirror.

Habitat:

Su rango geográfico va desde el Neártico. En el Neotrópico se encuentra desde el sur de EE.UU hasta México. Pasa por Centroamérica hasta llegar a Bolivia y Venezuela. Prefieren la noche y hábitats de bosques de hojas anchas ya que se alimentan de estas. Nearctic, Neotropical: ranges from south U.S.A. throughout Mexico and Central America to Bolivia and Venezuela. Prefer night and broadleaf forests habitats because they feed on them.
