Red legged bug with foot parasites

Lampromicra aerea

RED LEGGED BUG Lampromicra aerea. This insect could not walk because of several large yellow lobed appendages on its toes. What could these be? Suggestions please.

The bug was found on Asclepsia (milkweed) in Sydney.

The only reference I can find provides no image. Here is another member of this genus.
