Brown anole

Anolis sagrei

Description:

Dark brown, nearly black lizard seen scampering through the leaf litter. A second anole (in the second photo) extends his dewlap to show off. Always fun to find a bonus creature in your pictures/photobomb-ing organism after the fact.

Habitat:

Seen on Honeymoon Island State Park.

Great catch Mauna. Anoles can be tough to catch "on film" sometimes.. Thanks.

Hello again, cufcal! Any time.

Take lots and lots of photos to share with the PN community. I would love to see spottings from Thailand.

Hi Mauna, Thank you for welcoming me the other day. I am visiting family in Thailand just now and the nature is amazing...especially as its rainy season.
