Wolf Spider

Rhabidosa rabida

Description:

Fairly large spider, about 2 inches long, grayish in color with darker colored markings.

Habitat:

Found on the side of my house.

Notes:

Weather when I found it was cold and wet.

It is a wolf spider, though not a Rabidosa species. There are probably three Rabidosa species in your area (R. rabida, R. punctulata and R. hentzi), which you can see on the BugGuide genus page:

My guess would be one of the Gladicosa species:
