Wood Nettle

Laportea canadensis

Description:

Leaves opposite and toothed along the entire margin. I thought this was wood nettle but I'm not sure anymore. Possibly stinging nettle?

Habitat:

Growing thickly near stream bed.

Notes:

During the summer when I would walk by this patch of plant, I would smell a very pleasant, sweet aroma but could never verify that it was coming from this plant.
