Description:

Medium-sized, umber-colored moth, diurnal in its habits. Hind wings may be orange.

Habitat:

Found in an open field with grasses, yucca, prickly-pear cacti, sunflower, rabbitbrush, and scattered elm trees.

Notes:

Rather wary moth, somewhat difficult to approach.
