Pinyon jay

Gymnorhinus cyanocephalus

Habitat:

seen in rocky desert habitat in a pine tree. harsh jay like call.

Notes:

wish id been closer but this bird was very far away. at fist i dismissed it for another western scrub jay, then thought it was a stealers jay. wasn't sure until i got it onto my computer and now i think its a pinyon jay. if it is its another lifer.
