Fried-Egg Jelly

Phacellophora camtschatica

This big jellyfish with a mild(ish) sting is a cold water jelly that frequents the waters of coastal BC at this time of year. They can grow up to 60cm in diameter and resemble a fried egg from the top of their bell (hence the name!).
