Rough-legged Hawk

Buteo lagopus

Description:

Their plumage can be pretty variable, but they are heavily speckled and have a lot of white underneath when flying. Like their name states, they have feathered legs.

Habitat:

They breed in northern North America and across Europe and Asia, then migrate south on their respective continents for the Winter.
