Description:

brown spotted/ stripped with black and darker shades of brown. shape of their backs resemble a shield

Habitat:

native to asian countries like China, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea but was accidentally introduced into the US in the late 1990s and have no natural predators here so their population has boomed and is causing a lot of problems for local agriculture.
