Sceloporus undulatus hyacinthinus
A young fence lizard blending into the stripped bark of a log.
It was found near logs and rocks on a moderately high cliff face over the Arkansas River in Cadron Settlement park, at dusk.
Specified as Sceloporus undulatus hyacinthinus due to its range map on wikipedia, but could be another undulatus type for all I know. I thought we had Eastern fence lizards here, not Northern.
