Jakubko, while I was researching about Eudocima moths and caterpillars I found out that I had another one in my collection. This is a genuine south american species, which can migrate sometimes as far north as USA.
Noctuidae, Catocalinae, I guess, looks identical to Eudocima sp. from Asia, a real pest of Fruit Piercing Moths... http://www.plantwise.org/?dsid=23012&... And as it might be the case for pests, it could be an introduced species which makes the ID not easier. Check for Eudocima in Brazil and then for other genus.

Wow!
Hi Chief, it is the same as I suggested in the first comment. I hope we are not wrong, though...
Thank you Bayucca, Rieko, Yuko, Ken & Leuba. Yes, Leuba, it was a bit weird to look at those "eyes" while I was trying to photograph the cat...
what a beauty ! those "eyes" might make it look spooky if the catty was bigger and moved really fast...really lovely.
This is a beautiful caterpillar!
Incredible colors and shape. And beautiful shots. It is too bad that it is a real pest.
Looks velvety! Gorgeous!
