Hippotion sp.

Description:

Hazel, with pink markings in the inner wings, Has white stripes, along with other shades of various brown. About 3.6 cm in length.

Habitat:

Found in my school, on a dead bush. Seen at least three sphinx moths, one of them is a real hummingbird moth.

also, i have seen 6 sphinx or hawk moths in total and i have caught 4 of them. i’ve also caught a Tropical Swallowtail Moth, and have gotten up close with some Oleander Hawk Moth caterpillars, pupas and an adult at my school. also, i’m in Calabarzon, so you think you got any nice moths for me, ppl?

well, i’m in the main island, in Luzon in the philippines, so i think this is probably Hippotion from Southeast Asia.
