Thanks Gustavo, wow man that's a sad story, I would really lose it if I had to see something like that. We are having a incredibly hard time here in South Africa at the moment with Rhino poaching. Because things have become so tough many are killed everyday for their horns, the situation has really become dire!!

Jared, I much appreciated your ecological intelligence! I chose your picture to paste that message because I had a very bad experience with this owl: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/710... I was at a window of a place where I worked and I saw some guys trying to steel her offspprings, I told them not to do that, they went away, I came back to work and after 10 minutes I came to see and they were far away, had already taken the offsprings. The mother owl made angry screems. I'd like it would never happen again. Thanks and congratulations!

A difficult shot I'm sure to get an owl at night in the distance. You have lot of great spottings. I've spent a bit of time in Africa too, really love it there! Welcome to Noah, looking forward to more of your stuff. BTW, I like that you state they are only wild photos, I am the same way.

Gustavo, I too share your concern about the creatures we spot and love. Please note that this picture was shot in a protected national park and I have not posted the exact GPS cord of sighting. I have merely given the whereabouts. But as I understand it project Noah is about creating a worldwide data base of animals and insects and there distribution. But I too share your concern on poachers using this sight to their advantage.

Why does anybody put it's own adress in the internet?
A: It's dangerous!!! Nobody knows who is watching!
Why does we put GPS position of every creature we find?
We don't care about their safety.
Beautiful photos makes us happy!
GPS position makes poachers happy!
Please, change GPS position a bit and do what PN should do!!!
