Ladoffa sp.
leafhopper
On low vegetation in the rainforest at the Maipaima Eco Lodge, Guyana.
Cool? I don't think you mean my terrible orthographics and misspellings ;-)! Unfortunately I cannot provide another candidate as a possible ID.
Very close, indeed, personally I am sceptic about this one really being L. dependens. Too much of the spots, meaning size, location, distance between these spots, shape are not a perfect match. However, I cannot judge these criterias in connection with variability within the species nd I do not know how accurate the indicated range is. Guyna is not mentioned for Ladoffa dependens and most of the Dependens are reported from Central America. But how trustable are these IDs? They match quite ine with the one from the Welsh database. That's why I personally still would go with Ladoffa sp.
