Description:

Similar is B. Fechtneri and B. Appendiculatus, but this mushroom on the handle does not mesh. Simple mushroom hat has the diameter of 6 - 12 cm, sometimes up to 20 cm. Long is convex and only when ripe becomes flattened and folded mostly foreskin. Its color is light brown or cimetasta with gray highlights. The skin initially passes over the edge of the hat and bends down. Dry and smooth. In mature specimens become pale. Tubes are quite long, sometimes up to 25 mm, in young specimens pale yellow, later golden yellow or olive-yellow color. At the push of color remains the same. The holes were initially closed, very small, the same color as the tube and does not change color when pressed. Spores are elongated ellipse, the mass of olive-yellow color. The handle can grow up to 15 cm in height and up to 6 cm wide, cylindrical hat to the bottom of the spread, the full and hard, and at the bottom is tapered root. Color is light cream or yellowish under the hat, and the bottom turns into a darker brown or reddish brown. No netting on the handle, characteristic for mushrooms. The meat of the mushroom in the hat is white, firm, and over 2 cm thick. Beneath the skin, the flesh is yellow or red, and white handle, while at the bottom of the yellow. At the intersection does not change color. Recalls the smell of fruit, although the literature states that resembles iodine or carbol. The taste is sweet. The cuisine is in the top delicacy mushrooms in general.

Habitat:

Impolitus mushrooms growing in deciduous woods, especially under oak trees, in moist soil, summer and autumn. With us is a rare and literature not found south of the basin. Recorded in Europe, and slightly more to the south, and very rare in the northern and eastern part of North America.
