Manorina flavigula
An inland version of the well known Noisy Minor, the Yellow throat is lighter in coloration but no less common or noisy. This one had a newly fledged chick that it was busy feeding, it's parental duties made easier by the heavy rains that sent all manor of insects up from the ground seeking dry refuge

Let me know if you figure it out. I'd love to have them in my garden though
Still nobody has cleared that up for me.. although the Bell miners around here dig the depths of our sanity sometimes. Too many mynahs here too.
I stand corrected.... but hell, I thought our guide was asking if I got a picture of the Mynah(I'd gotten a picture of a wattlebird at the time) and I emphatically said no, no Mynahs... but she just pressed on, sure the wattlebird was a miner. Ah... to be divided by a common language! Life is grand :)
So what do they mine?
"Miner" :)
Thank you for the comment. As common as they were, they were highly entertaining. Saw two of the noisy minors rolling around like puppies on the grass in Adelaide
Ohhhh lovely! One of my favourite birds. I did not know they were in light available too! ;- )
I miss them, moved away from Asia and the minors. Do not see any here in Venezuela. Thank you for this lovely moment.
