Artaxa sp.
This yellow tussock moth with footprint-like black markings, was laying eggs. After laying eggs, it is also seen that it has provided maternal care by shedding some of its abdominal hairs all over the eggs, most probably to render cushion-like protection and also to hide the eggs from predators.
Artaxa Moth length: 20 mm. Spotted on the wall. Countryside.
