Description:

Long, extremely slender mantis with delicate appendages.

Habitat:

Found at lights at night at Esplendor Resort. Surrounding habitat is mostly mesquite scrub.

Notes:

Formerly placed in the genus Oligonicella.

There *is* no common (English) name for this species. The overwhelming majority of insects have only a scientific name.

I found mine at the same location, in a shrub outside Randy Morgan's room. :-)
