Unusual tufted caterpillar about 3 cm long. The skin below the grey tufts is a bright orange. Found on Heliconia leaves.
Forested areas of the Sumidero Canyon National Park.

Since I joined PN, I've seen so many caterpillars that blew my mind, but this is one of the most bizarre but fascinating caterpillars! Great find!
