Orthetrum chrysis
Thanks for your suggestion travellingchez :)
I've created a mission so we can document the wide variety of insects in Indonesia. It's here if you are interested. http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1773...
Crocothemis erythraea is a southern European/north African species.DAve
Thanks for your sugestion Telse, but I thinks Dave's right...it's Orthetrum chrysis...Crocothemis erythraea has a bright red abdomen color.
I have no idea for what it is exactly, just love to capture anything around my back yard. Thanks for your suggestions Dave, it's really helps :)
Two different species, both males:On the left - Orthetrum chrysishttp://www.asia-dragonfly.net/globalResu...On the right - Neurothemis fluctuanshttp://www.asia-dragonfly.net/globalResu...Not 100% on either as I am having a lot of problems with similar dragon identifications. See what you or anyone else thinks.Great image :)Dave
