Philippine Long-tailed Macaque

Macaca fascicularis philippensis

Description:

One of them was standing beside the road and when we stopped the other came out from the forest. The macaque has a reddish-brown coat. It exhibits an extremely long tail, which is longer than its height from the head to rump. Its tail has an average length of 44 to 60 cm. Males weigh 4–8 kg and females only attain 3–4 kg.

Habitat:

Mountain forest.
