Pseudotrapelus sinaitus
"Medium sized lizard, body relatively slender with long thin limbs. Third hind toe is longer than the fourth. Color differs greatly between the sexes and according to breeding condition. Intensity of color is reduced outside the breeding season." ~ A Guide to the Reptiles and Amphibians of Egypt
"Inhabits dry rocky areas in mountainous and hilly regions. Diurnal, active at the hottest parts of the day. A typical sit-and-wait forager, which can tolerate extreme aridity." ~ A Guide to the Reptiles and Amphibians of Egypt
Not my only spotting of this lizard; I just love them! He did not seem to mind our observing him; he happily snacked on ants as we watched. Second image shows how blue he was when we first spotted him.
