Snout moth

Agriphila sp

Description:

A small (max 15 mm in length; I would say about 3cm in wingspan) beige moth, from genus Agriphila, fam Crambidae.

Habitat:

Common in temperate regions of Eurasia. Seen in our apartment, bordering a meadow and close to a local deciduous forest. It is also close to town center. The town is located in a lowland in between Jura and Alps mountains, suburbs of Geneva and an agricultural zone.
