Tersa Sphinx Moth

Xylophanes tersa

Description:

For National Moth Week, Brown and yellow Sphinx with black and white underwings. Golden hair-like bristles covered half of the Sphinx's eyes (last picture). It was about 3.5 cm long. Family Sphingidae.

Habitat:

Under the light on the balcony, Posada Loma, Fortin de Las Flores, Veracruz.
