Epiplema fusdifrons (Warren, 1896)
Mixed forests of pines, cherry, bamboo and others.
This moth had visited our terrace light. Not exactly sure but I have placed this under Uranidae as I have seen similar ones under it. Pl comment.
Thanks bayucca for going into the details. Thanks syzygy for the ID and ref.
Well, I am new here, even not a biologist so I accept your comments bayucca.
Should I delete my ID suggestion?
I would agree with the ID, although the markings are not really consistent with Fuscifrons, however, there are not really a lot of trustable references around to compare with. Epiplema bicaudata is also quite similar. I would call yours Epiplema cf. fuscifrons and Uraniid Moth. It is not really a Geometer moth, but part of Geometroidea.
I have taken ID by Arne from a related spotting of yours:

.. Or as a painted porcelain... Marvellous!
Sure, I will wait for ID!
Thanks for sharing this!
Have never seen such needlework-style pattern before.
Unique (as every species) and beautiful!
