Description:

A large flea beetle in glossy black. 10mm

Habitat:

In suburban market car park on a cut grass stem.

Notes:

Biological Control Agent This one is much larger than the metallic blue ones (about 7-8mm) and a whole order bigger than the tiny (3-4mm) black-blue ones. 5000 species, recently joined to Galaerucinae, stopping at Alticini.
