Description:

Baby Tree Swallow hesitant to leave the nest. The only Swallow with metallic blue or blue-green upperparts and clear white underparts.

Habitat:

Nesting in a feather lined cup of grass placed in a hole in a tree or in a nest box. 4 to 6 white eggs. This habitat is in a nest box placed in the telephone pole high off the ground looking over the drive way. The parents nest in the same box each year.
