Geometrid Moth

Description:

Yellow moth of about 4 cm wingspan with brown markings. The third picture is of an individual that came to an ultraviolet light, same place, on 24 April 2014. A noticeably more orange specimen was seen on 18 June 2014 (4th picture).

Habitat:

On the garden gate below the lights, semi-urban area on the outskirts of San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
