Are they mating or fighting? I was riding on the bosque, and saw several little aggregates under a tree. These little aggregates would fall to the ground every so often. I don't know if the aggregates were falling from the tree or the sky. Albuquerque,NM,USA

I'm going to put in an "educated guess"... mating? I see both winged individuals and non-winged. Check this article out. It is very informative!
