Orange-Brown Milky

Lactarius Volemus

Description:

A toadstool of the family Russulaceae. The orange-brown milky is called so because it emits a white liquid when cut. The edges of the cap point upwards, like a cup.

Habitat:

Deciduous forests

Notes:

It's edible despite its odor -- but don't worry, the smell leaves after cooking.
