Adelpha serpa-group caterpillar (prepupal stage)

Adelpha sp.

Description:

I've seen many caterpillar here in PN that look like this, but never this color. When I spotted it, I thought it was dead and dry. But when I gently touched it, it moved slightly. It was firmly attached to the leaf by a bit of silk in the tail. I wonder if it was ill or if it was going to molt. I'll try to find it again tomorrow, to see what happened.
