The size varies from individual to individual and from season to season. Wing length from 7 to 12 mm. I think it is Myathropa florea mainly because of the characteristic thoracic pattern.

Thanks Kostas for suggestion! This one was quite big, maybe cca 2,5cm ...bigger than the one I spotted some time ago. But it is very similar.
