Oryctes rhinoceros?
A soft white larvae, 5cms long 1.5cms thick, found in my compost heap.
Several of these grubs were found in my compost heap when I emptied it. All different sizes. This was the largest.

i'm confident these are Oryctes rhinoceros's grubs.
i agree you had better get rid of them before it's too late..
thanks Nuwan for the ID. So I guess I had better get rid of these grubs when I find them, though I'm sure they work the compost heap fast! Have several coconut trees in the garden though, and it seems they create havoc with them.
Great photo. We have a similar looking cockchafer larvae here, in abundance. So much so that our pet duck follows us around when we are digging or gardening because we'll find these larvae and toss them to her to eat.
Welcome pamsai.
thanks MayukhGhosh and Argy Bee...
Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle (Oryctes rhinoceros) ??

1. a variety of scarab beetle
2. Green Fruit beetle
Scarab larva of some kind.
Interesting little vein formation in the rear...
@argy... It was curled up and I put it on it's back to get a clear pic of the head and rear, and the sun came out!
Big larvae = big beetles. What's happening in pic 4 Pam?
