Mycena sp.
This clump of mycena had shallow bell-shaped caps with deep brown striations radiating from the centre.The caps had dark centres. Stipes were smooth and pale with a tinge of brown towardsthe base. The stipe nearer the cap appeared thicker than the rest of it - ? significant.
Gills were spaced and white.
Spotted growing on the trunk of a large eucalypt - cool temperate forest.
I am hoping to get an ID for this.
