A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Euastacus sulcatus
Blue & white in colour. About 10cm long.
According to the Queensland museum it is restricted to streams bordered by rainforest altitudes above 300m. We saw this on in Lamington National Park.
The Crayfish walked up onto the bank & found itself a green leaf. It carried it back to the water to eat it. There were a number of crayfish in the stream.
