Anolis pentaprion
This must be a male Anole, displaying its bright red throat.

Then I think it's your anole! I've only ever seen two in three summers of fieldwork in Central America. Excellent spot!
John, it was probably 6' to 10' high on the tree trunk, judging by the angle of the picture. It does look like the pictures I found of Anolis pentaprion, with the whitish dashed down the back and red dewlap.
Potentially a pentaprion. How high off the ground was this?
