Rudbeckia laciniata

Description:

Herbaceous perennial, up to 2 m tall, with erect, stiff, slender stems and leaves divided into 3 toothed lobes. Flowers are up to 10 cm wide, with domed green disc flowers and yellow, separated, twisted rays.

Habitat:

Against a rock wall on the north side of the river canyon, at approximately 2100 m elevation.
