First night was spent under a Bougainvillea leaf. Photo #3 - Day 5. They are out and about during the day now. Still sleep together at night under the bougainvillia leaf. Now I can see many minute holes in the leaves of the bean plant. They are losing their round shape, the body is now more oval.

:) Amazing pics and I love your follow up reports! :)
Added a photo: Day 5. They are out and about during the day now. Still sleep together at night under the bougainvillia leaf.
They are losing their round shape, the body is now more oval. Still not sure what they are eating, though there seems to be lots of tiny holes in some of the bougainvillia leaves. May not be caused by them...
thanks Yuko...
Day 4, and they are still in the same position on a different bougainvillia leaf. I have checked them 3 or 4 times a day, and they don't seem to move. I wonder if they eat, I see no signs.
Day 2 since they emerged from the eggs and they are still under the same bougainvillia leaf. Wonder what they are eating? They just seem to sit there all day.
This cuties can go after any of my plants anytime!! ; )
hehehe Gilma Jeannette. Not sure if they were after the bougainvillia or the bean that was winding it's way up it! The eggs were laid on the bean stem. Whichever, they are very cute!
From now on I will check my Bougainvillea more often!! ; )
The beetles from the red pearls!
