Called the Common Jay, Arisbe doson nauta Tsukada & Nishiyama 1980 (Papilionidae; Papilioninae; Leptocircini). Arisbe doson nauta is the ssp. occurring in Luzon and in many other parts of the country.
Spotted mudpuddling along the bank of a stream traversing the Binictican forest trail located in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Hermosa Bataan.
