Spider-flower

Cleome sp.

Description:

The inflorescence looks like a ball made up of spaced pink flowers and white ones.

Habitat:

Outside the locked gate of a house where no one is currently living. Urban residential area. This is likely a garden escapee. Leaves look a lot like those eof the Cannabis plant.

Notes:

Cleome hassleriana is what I think it is. Reportedly it has been " introduced: to India and Bangladesh where it is called Peum https://www.prothomalo.com/bangladesh/en.... On my walks, I have seen many other species of Cleome growing in the wild. Synonym: Tarenaya hassleriana.
