Description:

Large bush 4x5 feet Leaves 3inches or so. Clusters of round black berries. .

Habitat:

Found by the side of a dirt road in the boise national forest near trinity lakes

Looks like Elderberry. A fantastic plant, very important for wildlife, and useful for people too. Berries are edible (quite tart), and makes excellent jam and jelly, and wine.
