Description:

A tall herb that grows in sandy soil, with large, broad, oval opposing or whorled leaves. It produces a group of pinkish flowers. The flowers have five petals. The group of flowers forms in a globe shape from the central point at the top of the stem.

Habitat:

Spotted growing in a grassy field with sandy soil.
