Hello. Are you posting from Kansas? You can position the "pin marker" of the spotting location by entering in the coordinates or a place name in the search box while creating or editing your spotting. Here's how:

See "Where did you find it?
click "Add location"
enter a location name or coordinates
click "Search"
That will move it to a point where you can position it more precisely using your mouse. When searching on a location name be aware that it won't work with small or obscure place names. Use a country, state and/or good-sized town name.

You should also add information to the spaces provided to describe your spotting and its location :-)
