Mylothris rueppellii haemus
small butterfly, Piedidae family
evergreen rainforest, 1500m
I spotted this in the Bvumba mountains.
Thanks Martin, yes they do.
Nice shot Dan.They seem to be blushing.
That looks good to my bayucca, thanks! Thank you Rieko!
Pieridae, Pierinae, Pierini, Pierina, Mylothris rueppellii.Tough one! I think we discussed this earlier. I remember I was quite busy, I proposed Mylothris agathina and you asked, waht about Mylothris poppea. But I completely forgot this one.In the meanwhile I checked them again, and I know I play again a risky game, but I think it is neither Agathina nor Poppea, but Mylothris rueppellii.http://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/148352-M...https://www.flickr.com/search/?w=all&...https://www.flickr.com/photos/puffinbyte...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mylothris_...https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:...https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:...And I noticed that my old Guide of Butterflies of Rhodesia is not much of help...What do you think, Dan?
