Mallard(leucistic)

Anas platyrhynchos

Description:

At first I thought it was another species of duck, but the fact that it behaved as a mallard, it swam amongst mallards and (besides the color) seemed a normal mallard brought me to the conclusion I was facing a leucistic specimen. The fact that the pupil was a normal colour and the beak, although not exactly normal, at least coloured made me conclude it wasn't albinism.

Habitat:

Rocky shorline in a marine park
