White cattle egret (of heron family). at the backwaters foliage. On zooming out my camera I find some other birds alongside to my surprise (given in second photo), these were kisgfisher, cormorants and perhaps a sea gull !
Seen in the Killi River backwaters near Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)
