Description:

Wingspan. Approximately 4 inches Black with shadows of dark stripes, visible on underside of wings. Hindwing of both female forms has a row of blue chevrons and an iridescent blue wash over parts of the interior hindwing. The upperside of the hindwing has a prominent orange marginal spot just visible in this image.

Notes:

Female has 2 forms: one yellow like the male and the other black with shadows of dark stripes. This is the black form.
