Yellow-throated Warbler

Setophaga dominica

Notes:

Yellow-throated Warblers were common birds around the resort I stayed at, and one of the approachable ones.

Thanks Glen and Ashley! It took a while and a lot of shots with multiple yellow-throated warblers to get a few good shots. Sometimes persistence pays off:-)

Nice shot! When I spotted them down there they were just too much on the go to get good pictures of.

I haven't been to Isla Mujeres, but it looks like a place to visit if I get back to the Yucatan.
Thanks for all the nice comments from Yuko, Ali and Ann.

Okay, thanks Tom. It sounds like a typical resort for that area then. Have you ever been to Isla Mujeres?

It's not exactly a lodge for birders. My company sends some of our customers on vacation once a year and I've been getting a trip too, but it's at one of the all inclusive resorts with a couple thousand people:-( I wandered all around with my camera and found a couple remote corners of the resort where I could find a few birds. And a few times went off the resort to snorkel and birdwatch.

Great photo! Which lodge was this? Do you recommend it for other birders?
