First: photo: eye wide open.
Second photo: eye open but covered by nictitating membrane.
Third photo: eye closed.
Thank you Satyen, Michael Edward and Mayra Springmann.
Great that you caught the nicitating membrane (think that is what it's called) over the eye.
Really nice series. Love series shots. Particularly like face and eye shots. This is a great one.
Wonderful series Luis!
Thank you Aaron, Noel and Martin.
I wouldn't trust a crocodile even with tears. Great shot Luis. I heard that only marine animals produce tears (and the main function is for salt regulation). Humans retain this ability, now used for communication of emotion but it lends credibility to the aquatic theory of human origins.
Beautiful photos and series Luis!
Wonderful closeups! Simply beautiful.
Thank you Michael, Karen and Jeannette
Cool series :)
